Gardaland Christmas 2026: dates and opening hours
Magic Winter closes the park's year: the 2026 season ends on 6 January 2027 and the 2027 season starts on 20 March. In December it opens in blocks, and from the 26th it is open daily, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day included. The hours do not change: 10:30 to 18:00, including 24 and 31 December. This is the official calendar as of 3 November 2026:

What's on at Christmas
The Magic Winter ticket includes Gardaland and Miniland at LEGOLAND Water Park on the same day, and the SEA LIFE aquarium on that day or the next. The aquarium is a good indoor option if the day turns cold.
Gardaland has not yet published the show programme for Magic Winter 2026 or which rides run in winter, and it gives no rules on closures for cold weather. It does make clear that the park opens even when it rains and that, during storms, some rides may stop for a while.
What does have dates is Supermagic Elementi, an illusion show with international performers: 8 performances from 4 to 8 December in the Gardaland Theatre, with numbered seating. It is a separate event, not included in the park ticket or the season pass. There is a combined Magic Winter and show ticket for the same day, and you can add a dinner with its own menu at the Ristorante Aladino. With a show ticket, parking is free from 15:30 through the coach entrance. If you are going to the 21:00 performance, the park still closes at its usual time and you have to leave.

Ticket prices are per adult. If you already know you are going, buy the open-date ticket before 5 December: at €27 it is cheaper than the fixed-date one. If your birthday falls during Magic Winter, you get in free on that exact day, at the box office and with ID. Our pick: if you plan to come back in 2027, the €79 Silver pass is worth a look.
For New Year's Eve, the offers page advertises a Capodanno package with a themed hotel, a gala dinner with entertainment and park entry, with no published price for 2026.
Which day to go and how to plan it
5 to 8 December is a long weekend (the 8th is a public holiday in Italy), and 26 December to 6 January is the Christmas holiday period: expect more people then. Your best chances of a quiet day are 12 and 13 December and Monday 21 to Wednesday 23 December. To fine-tune your choice, use our tool for choosing when to visit Gardaland.
- Time: with 10:30 to 18:00, one day is enough. Arrive at opening to make the most of the daylight.
- Clothing: a coat, hat, gloves and shoes that can handle the rain.
- Aquarium: since SEA LIFE is also valid the following day, you can leave it for the next morning.

The official website is the price benchmark, and here it matters: the €27 launch offer is on the Gardaland website and runs until 5 December. The GetYourGuide listing is a 1-day ticket for a fixed date. There you pay in your own language and currency and see the cancellation terms before paying. Choose a day when Magic Winter is open.
